Establishment Labs Participating at Key European Aesthetic Medicine Congress, Beauty through Science
Establishment Labs is participating in the Beauty through Science (BTS) International Aesthetic Medicine Congress in Stockholm, Sweden from June 5-8, 2019.
One of the largest aesthetic medicine congresses in Northern Europe, BTS convenes over 1,000 academic experts, world-renowned surgeons and industry leaders from across the globe to share their valuable knowledge and the latest innovations in the space.
Juan José Chacón-Quirós, Chief Executive Officer of Establishment Labs, participated in the panel, “The Future of Aesthetic Medicine: A Grand Debate between Industry and Physicians,” alongside Dr. Per Hedén, Ph.D., an Associate Professor in Plastic Surgery at the Karolinska University in Stockholm. Chacón-Quirós addressed how to evolve to safe alternatives in breast aesthetics following regulatory concerns about breast implant safety and how this will shape the future of the industry.
Establishment Labs’ other activities include:
- A sponsored live surgery case of Motiva Anatomical TrueFixation® breast implants by Dr. Federico Mayo, an aesthetic and reconstructive surgeon with clinics in Madrid and Zurich
- Symposia on the Evolution of Breast Surgery with scientific research updates
- Breakfast with expert surgeons discussing considerations when transitioning to Motiva Implants®
- A Beauty Boss networking event for women in plastic surgery
At Establishment Labs, we believe it is our collective responsibility as an industry to help patients understand progressive and innovative implant options, and we are committed to working with patients, doctors and industry experts alike to further this mission.
